Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

Good luck to all who were laid off

And to those of us who are still around, because no chance in he-l we will be able to do any sensible work but we are going to be loaded with work for everybody who’s gone. Positioning for growth? Really? With what? Brain-dead mgmt? Where is the breaking point between efficient layoffs and layoffs leading to nobody left to do the work?

Life has a way of wrecking your preparation even if you were trying to be prepared.
But the execs and board members don’t know that. They are way too out of touch.
Their reality is that they are too focused on the stock price to see the lives that they are ruining and too rich to care that we can’t afford our groceries.

If the day ever comes where they are made to answer for ruining the economy by crippling the employees who are the consumers, I hope the worst for them.

May they have their assets and opportunities stripped from them, their heirs and any other appointees . May they live out their days in the poverty they caused with no access or influence.

Anyone who was let go is probably better off, the writing has been on the wall for a long time, I really hope everyone was prepared and were not caught off guard unable to pay bills or support their family. I was let go 18 months ago, but seen it coming even 2 years before it happen, plenty of time to plan ahead.
