6 1/2 mor weeks until Aug 14, the wait is painful. Has anyone pushed the button and change their mind ? Not me.

I'd rather coast that month and take the vacation pay. You will probably be expected to do some type of work transition.
I wonder how many people are sitting on more than enough time to just put in PTO till 9/13 heck maybe judt half days. I know I have more than enough for full days with a few to spare.
I could never get out of the mindset of “it isn’t if it is when” and having most of your vacation left means you have a few more weeks of severance.
It is a long wait, but the fact that they offered this again just 6 years later than the last one (which I almost took) is amazing. I thought it would be 10+ years. Happy to be a button-presser now.
If you r on the fence u should take it because there will be so much more work to go around with significantly less people.
If i only wanted another year I would definitely push the button and get paid a year and 3 months plus 2 years worth of SPI and free medical. Why work the year if they are paying you the year and you leave now.
Don't Look Back
Pushed the button and never looking back. The organization is critically short staffed, so we’ll see what happens. Good luck to fellow VSP’ers.
Pushed the button, yes the wait is excruciating. I hope we(all9 are accepted, and the reorganizing afterwards saves jobs for those remaining.
I am not going to push the button, I hope there are more people to take VSP, so that I can stay another year or more.
