Get your dental work done this year! Most dentists don't take the new plan since Delta Dental is such a cr-p insurance. Already talked to two dentists and they do not take it. Going from 4 covered cleanings a year to 2 if you can find a dentist that takes it. Bad raises and sh-t insurance, no thanks. Thought I would stay to 55, but not looking to be worth it anymore.

The recent poster is right, we are getting sc--wed over on the new dental plan. Someone needs to take a look immediately!
Same experience here. I don't trust HR and Procurement to manage any benefits transitions.
This is evidence that some poor quality work from HR and Corporate Procurement results in negative employee experience. If these two groups own the result then they will rectify it immediately. It's that simple. Let's see what behaviors they exhibit before giving them recognitions of great work!
New dental plan only covers 80% of cleaning, code D4910. This means for a family of four, you will pay $200 more than previous plan.
So dear EM Mgmt, I'm staying cost neutral on this savings you've built. Bet you can't figure out where I am taking it from in the company... That's for the loosened controls :)

Dental plans are like using an annual gift card. The important thing is the total cap. Any good dentist will draw your annual amount down and advise dental work accordingly. No big deal. Same as before
OP, no need to repeat what we already know. Delta Dental is shlt. We all know that. BCBS is also shlt. And if it's for the new vision plan you'll go blind soon. All the new benefits are shlt. We all know this. No need to repeat all this. It's time for everybody to make a decision. Are you going to accept DW sticking his finger up you a$$ or are you going to look for another job? Just make your decision. ExxonMobil is a dead company and it'll get a lot worse in a hurry soon. So accept the India treatment you're getting or get the fucc out. But stop complaining. Just decide.

I can think of so many benefits that have been downgraded since I hired. Only improvement I can think of is Paternity leave which was implemented after all my kids were born so no help to me!

Looks like the HR Company trolls are trying their darndest to hide the fact that benefits are going down the drain. I have 2 good and reputable dentists in the family and they just refuse to work with Delta Dental.
Company is in rapid decline. CEO to worker pay gap continues to widen as executives pile on and increase their compensation all while reducing your benefits and giving lower than inflation raises and PIPing you.

BS. My dentist explained it to me. Delta has thousands of different reimbursement schedules and while it is true that very few dentists agree to a blanket acceptance of them all, the schedule for our particular Exxon plan has not yet been released. We all need to wait until it is released and then nominate your dentist. They will take a look at the numbers at that time and decide if they will accept it or not.
Yeah I can’t find a dentist in 60 miles that even takes that 3rd world cr-p. Bet some azz manager had a bullet on their pds though
