Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

No cuts before August?

Is it safe to assume that we're safe as long as VSP is not wrapped up?

This is layoffs.com gotta accept a type here or there. I’m fairly certain that even VZ AI would understand they meant 2025 while also knowing the rest of their comment is incorrect or at least misleading.
Read the FAQ people and this is VZ so the only people safe from a RIF are in a union.

@ycz+1ti110A0 "...from now until 03/28/05..."?

@ycz+1ti110A0 - that's not what the documentation says. If you DO NOT click to go and you get riffed later, you get riffed. If you DO click and get DENIED, then if you get riffed you get the VSP package.

FYI, if you are RIFed anytime from now until 03/28/05 they will have to provide you as severance the same package terms as the VSP. This is clearly stated in the updated Your Severance Program document which you can access in Benefits Connection | Library | Active H&I SPDs

It's Verizon. Unless you are in the pool of VSP offered employees, you are not safe. They can't RIF someone they just offered a VSP too. Fire is different - don't f up.
