How many of us that were “right-sized” have found jobs and how many are still looking?

i know one dude that was in IT that was laid off, he is probably only qualified to work at home depot selling lumber, spent a lot of years getting paid to do nothing
Still looking. Sent out over 250 applications. Got 3 HR interviews, 2 jobs withdrawn, one told I wanted too high salary.

Most of the people that were laid off in April have been able to get jobs. But those jobs have been snapped up. The best opportunities went to those who were smart enough to leave the company BEFORE the layoffs. The takeaway is, it's much better to get a new job while you're still employed. Once you've been laid off, you lose your bargaining power. Don't sit around gloating over not being laid off. When you're turn comes, you will find familiar faces wherever you apply for work. People who got there way ahead of you and may not be happy to see you. If you think you are special for not being laid off yet, you're dead wrong.
