Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

I wonder what they'll do next?

So, now we are being offered an incentive to for quarter 3. That's all good and well, but how do we go about meeting all the impossible demands that the company puts in front of us. There are simple solutions to get us out of this hole they've put us in.

  1. give us back control of our order writing. If we can't handle it, replace those that can't or train them properly to do what we were hired for from the beginning
  2. re-train those that can't handle the job or have them step down so they can see what is necessary to get it done
  3. quit being greedy and pay everyone properly for everything you want throw on them.
  4. if you are going to move forward with Mission 1, adapt to what we need to succeed not to what you want to cut costs on
  5. go back to being the company everyone held in high regard and was proud to be a part of or do business with because that is not at all who we are now

I'm sure there are more changes coming . If they're something good, only time will tell.

Why stress so much when stores give you grief for excessive amounts of backstock due to these unnecessary a** locked orders at the Walmarts and at times, the Targets. Nowadays, I tell them to keep refusing em. Well, tough s*** and that means less to pack.

I just tell my stores to refuse the delivery when it it something we didn’t order and they don’t need! Makes for an easy day and my stores love me as a result!

Yea I could care less about any of the incentives. Only the DM cares because they'll get more money and they don't have to deal with the everyday BS that we do.

The only one who cares about the incentives is the management! They are getting pushed by upper management. As a result, our DM sits in bis couch, or maybe a bar stool, and forces product out into stores without any knowledge. So pathetic! Nobody cares anymore, especially me! 🥴

Interesting seeing that Hawaii never went mission 1. Than again it’s a states with multiple islands so consolidation is next to near impossible since some islands may be a territory of their own and have been since the get go and other states that are large in land size but have low population and low population densities like Alaska or Montana kinda can’t go mission 1 or else the whole state would be 4 reps and you’d have some stores that are more than a hundred miles apart from the next closest store. It’s the densely populated areas like metro NYC that always get sc--wed because they’ll just cut down the number of reps and give everyone 25-40 stores because there isn’t that long of a drive. The team I worked on encompassed an area that has a population of 2.5 million people yet we only had 7 reps but all reps had 30-40 stores.

They probably wont ever admit that Mission 1 is/was a complete, utter failure. Our service and reputation as a company has gone completely downhill. Almost nobody working in the field really cares about taking care of our Customers, having pride in your work, or doing the job correctly. Why do they think Hawaii region is always ki-ling it? Maybe its the fact that they have never gone Mission 1? 🤔

They have to put incentives out there periodically because there is not any incentives, they took them all away.

Here, let me dangle this almost impossible carrot for you...

They have to put incentives in place because Nobody cares about hitting numbers anymore. They have to try to motivate people.
