Why don’t they do dr-g testing before doing company wide RIFs, especially in the states where federal weed legislation is being ignored? Are they afraid of losing too much talent? I’ve seen articles online about the government having a hard time recruiting bc of this. Yea yea alcohol is worse than thc blah blah blah. Not arguing that here. I’m just pointing out that people following the rules shouldn’t be in the first round of cuts. If I wanted to let people go guilt free, at the very least I’d let the dr-ggies go first.

Demographic that is smoking weed? Umm, it's like all over the place, like alcohol is. Can't really target a group when it's so readily available at legal dispensaries.
Also, dr-gs screens cost money and it could be a Pandora's box for L3H to open itself to more government audits and loss of contracts IF they do mass screen and a bunch of people fail. So... Unlikely. They MAY do small, 'randomized' screening at sites depending on management. They WILL screen you if someone narcs on you. Be discreet if you do, don't tell your coworkers. YMMV, I don't care, I don't touch the stuff, just the usual advice to mind your business.
Someone appears scared of competency and is trying to throw anyone can under the bus before them hoping their hope of hopes to remain employed at this company longer. Friend, only diamond, taxes, and IT updates are forever. Totally agree regarding alcohol. Dr-gs have never made anyone better. Let your work, attendance, dedication, and product/technological related insights make you shine and stand out. I watch myself in these categories and could care less who other people sleep with or how they defuse after a long day. Happy forth!!!!
The company doesn't give a cr-p about dr-gs. DEI is all they care about. the layoffs were directed to accomplish those goals and given the demographic that is smoking weed, well there it is.
