A former CX VP filed a lawsuit in March, claiming he was fired because he raised concerns about how a now EX CX exec was making LR decisions in early 2023.

This will be settled out of court. However, if it does go to court, it will open the door for the unethical dismissals of workers at the age an of protected class (US). This VP who is laying this issue in front of the court is no picnic, he's just as bad as the rest of them but I hope he goes to court, wins and opens the door for a class action suite against Cisco for sweeping age discrimination.
I love how the court papers demonstrate the level of psychosis these leaders must have to be able to sleep at night. The negative impact they place upon on people and their families with no feeling or remorse is disgusting. They are all sick, sick people.

Just read the details in the above link. Age discrimination laid bare is the key point. More than his dismissal story, what's really interesting is that he's exposing how HR, execs (named Thimaya & Alistair...) are fully endorsing firing people based on their age.
I wont say how I know, but I do. This person was fired due to ethical violations. It should have happened sooner, but MM dragged her feet because she personally hired him. His claims are false.
hmmm interesting there is plenty of case in the system against Cisco
Like this one https://portal.scscourt.org/case/NDU3NTU1NA==
Each case has the records (events) sorted in reversed date order. Just read this section for each case: Complaint (Unlimited) (Fee Applies) It is always like the third last one. That PDF explains the cause for litigation.
So in the above particular one it shows, among others that Cisco failed to count the overtime hours correctly, pay them accordingly AND to calculate the resulting PTO. I don't remember the formula they use for this. Is it hourly based or monthly based (like you get X hours for each month worked) . Based on that alone I could claim some good money from these guys :-)
No Loitering.
Everyone just take the LR package offered, and move along please.
Nothing to see here.
