Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Pension payment question

I left XOM in late 2023 after about 10 years. When will the company send out the pension payment info? I thought it's 6 months after separation. But I haven't heard anything yet

Exxon mobil is a shady company. I have a vested pension but they refuse to send me my pension paperwork. They have been telling their working on it for months. It’s time to get a lawyer. What a joke.

The pension is vested at 5 years. There is website to check your pension benefits so you can probably check there. If you wait too long to get your money out you will have until you are retirement age to get it out.

If you don't mind disclosing what is the amount you are looking at for that level of service?

You don’t vest until 11 years

First you need to register in the benefit website.

If you waited a year then you may only be eligible for the annuity, not the lump sum.

Look up ExxonMobil family benifits online and apply for a pin. May want to talk with a financial advisor.
