Wow SR fired the person that had the most OPs knowledge by saying a COO role is not needed. How does that even make any sense?!

It's clear from the beginning that there was friction between SR and SP. First off, SR was completely off the radar from Oct 2023 to Feb 2024. Where was she? Normally if there are major changes/announcements/CPM's going on, the Altera CEO should at least be present in those meeting to show her support/endorsement. But she was a no-show. In addition, all the major roadmaps, strategy planning, etc that SP initiated were completely overturned by SR when she finally did show up. All else being equal, SP at least had 3 years of FPGA experience while SR had zero.
Yeah she could but some people need to be vindictive exactly like in the Game of Thrones where they collected the previous winners in another combat competition just because to teach the districts a lesson.
Could she say it differently? If a role is not needed, does it matter to just say the person decided to leave? Everyone gets it if the position is not filled by a new person.
@1jvo+1trDslxU It does thelayoff.com/altera
She knew all the employees wanted SP to replace her and took him out. Every announcement from SR is bad news.
Does Altera have a Layoff.com?
Who cares
SL recently hired her young protege JP to replace SP..
Watch how it unfolds..
SR can do it herself! She can do anything!
good, maybe other high level l-sers will be on the chopping block
I guess as CEO, SR thinks she has the COO function covered too.
Yes. Employee comm. released this morning on circuit go read it. He’s ‘gone’ by end of this month.
SR fired SP in Altera?
