I haven't seen any News coverage. Has anyone seen anything published indicating the total count? TIA

I didn’t quit. I decided not to move and they gave me a severance. You can’t get a severance if you quit. I’ll get a pro-rated bonus too. Can’t get that if you quit.
Clown troll Stankey n4thuggers want to make everyone think they were abandoned by lazy non workers. That’s fine. You are stuck working for a mismanaged security risk of a corporation. Think what you want, lol it won’t change your future state.
"This wasn't a layoff event. A majority of employees decided to quit."
Except there was a layoff event. I have seen the paperwork on the employees who chose to move, the employees who chose not to move, and the employees who were laid off. Unfortunately for some employees their names were on both the "choose to move" list and the "layoff" list.
Lesson: do not choose to move based on the job unless there are guarantees in writing that come with it. And then you should probably only move if it makes sense for everything but the job.
Not that appropriate for this particular situation but
AT&t seems to avoid news coverage of layoffs because of how they spread them out and do small numbers at a time but often
Troll or id--t my guess is both move on
