Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Breaking News

Reliable source - Jon Don just got a contract renewal for 2 additional years to try and turn the ship around.

I am shocked, I thought PK’s bode of confidence was just a facade for the media / stock but appears not to be the case.

JD was on the board for some time before being named CEO. It is hard to tell when the board will finally admit to themselves that he was a bad pick, but more importantly, they may not have a better option willing to captain the sinking ship.

@1bbq+1tv06ukt you haven't paid attention to the last several elections if you think PK doesn't care about getting a Republican in the Oregon Governor's seat. That is basically his life mission at this point. I wouldn't say he is MAGA but he definitely does not give a sh-t about women's health, LGBT rights, etc.

"He cares about money and Oregon Republicans."

What Oregon Republicans?
Remind me who runs the state and the city of Portland again.
The last Republican governor was in 1987.

This is a clueless rant. He cares about the people on the board of Nike.
Who are the majority shareholders and who runs their firms?
They definitely are not MAGA folks.

“CEOs of public companies often have employment contracts that can be renewed, similar to pro athletes. These contracts typically specify the terms of their employment, including duration, compensation, performance goals, and other conditions. When the contract term is nearing its end, the board of directors may decide to renew, renegotiate, or terminate the contract based on the CEO's performance and the company's needs. This renewal process can involve evaluations and negotiations similar to those seen in professional sports.”

Fake news. The CEO is not a player for an nba team that “renews”.

PK is JD’s biggest fan. It’s time to wake up and realize that PK doesn’t care about the company or employees either. He cares about money and Oregon Republicans.
