Instead of taking time off - just stay and do nothing at all until you are super bored and then do some small work and take a few days off calling in sick.

Repeat above procedure every other month - best job ever to milk free GW money. It is actually tax payer $$$ - which is partially your own $$ coming back to you effortlessly.

There is no cash out on Flex or Sick time. Check the policy on Sharepoint. If you have sick time use it!!!! Although it’s considered accrued time you lose it if you don’t use it.

GW Policy dated Mar 2024 : 1 week of pay for every year of service capped at 12 weeks. COBRA covered by GW for first month

I heard a co-worker was let go and they told me there was no severance and flex time cannot be cashed out. So a benefit that YOU earned you can't cash out. That SU-KS! It just keeps getting better here.

1week of pay for every 1 year of employment with a maximum of 12 weeks.

It's on the site under Policies. 12 week max. But if you've been here just a year or two, it's way lower.
