Don't overlook the last sentence: "Despite the more than 60 closures as of late, Wells Fargo has not finished these shutdowns, as another 55 branches are expected to close permanently during 2024."

So thats 115 branches so far in 2024.

Just about everything in Oregon will shut down in the next year. The exact timing depends on ramping up resources elsewhere, and the ivory tower types want it to be uncertain, might drive a little more voluntary attrition. Make no mistake though, those sites are closing and 99%+ of the employees will be termed. Start saving and planning now, if you're not already.

That’s great and all but what about the call centers such as the barn and the Salem location. They have closed a lot of locations that are direct customer facing roles. But the non customer facing roles are just sitting around confused as to why nothing has happened yet.
