Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Same old story

I don't understand why everybody is so shocked and upset over layoffs. This has been happening at Intel for years - constant small cuts combined with a major round here and there. The only thing that's different this time is that investors have noticed and are no longer sure this is a good business strategy hence the falling stock price. I see it as a good sign. Maybe this will force those at the top to try and actually improve our products or focus more on innovation instead of relying only on layoffs to artificially improve numbers.

We believed our own lines. Someone posted a few days back that we are arrogant and like the smell of our own farts….. and that sums it up. That is why people are surprised.

CPU GPU NPU product life cycles ! Innovate it and Market it, until its life cycle dies off !
Then reinvent it once more again ! Ai as we know it will last seven years until it saturates demand and then another innovative computing product will arrive yet for another round of popularity !
Intel is Out and NVidia is In !

Investors have had enough of this. They are heading for the exits and taking their losses to write off against their gains come December. Starbucks finished up 25% by replacing their CEO due to sales declines.

Good luck convincing investors with this unrealistic optimism. No investment, no growth, no research. There is nothing to hide now. No sugar-coating left.
