Wasn't JG the one to blame for the $$$$billions Gorgon was overspent?

JG thought he was putting all the Boomers out to pasture, what he didn't realize was that we were all within a couple years of retiring anyways, his big fat severance package was like offering candy to a kid who already had a big bag full in his 401(k). The joke was on JG, JJ, and MW, particularly that the Boomer purge put Chevron into a competency nosedive. Looks like all those high pots, MIT "scholars", and repatriated expats put into management positions couldn't put the Chevron Humpty Dumpty back together again.

He fanciest hisself a balller. In SR, he had the only secretly assigned front row parking spot in the outdoor lot. It said something like "CBRES Reserved". He was given this as a consulation prize after being denied access to the building A underground parking.

Joe G is missed because he got things done. He delivered outcomes. You may not like the way he did it every time, but he didn’t tolerate missing the target.

Let’s not forget that this individual, as we stressed over the pandemic and a company-wide reorg with tremendous uncertainty as to whether or not we would have a job, had the audacity to tell us not to play victim.

I wish I were making this up.

Oh, by the way, they never posted the recording of that giant 💩 show of a meeting. Can’t imagine why 😂

I just love how we are all playing the victim card after his mass layoff. For the newbies he was an executive that was very arrogant, wore a track suit like a mobster and he was the leader of one of the worst layoffs in Chevron history that wrecked the company post 2020.

JG gave us the triple crown reach around.

He set the foundation for petroleum engineers to moving to curry town
