heard many rumors about deep cuts in AppD this time. some orgs might be cut up to 50% which sounds crazy.
please share if you have heard anything about it and any idea around which teams in AppD are going to be impacted most.

AppD is nothing but rumors. Nobody has been notified w/in AppD.
No it won’t be 50%. Skeleton crew and 700m arr business. Sales will get merged into splunk and hit pretty hard. More focus on SEs
Engineer in end user experience monitoring here. We've been onboarded with splunk and have projects related to O11y cloud that are in the works. Just a lot of high level architectural discussions at this point. But the fact that there's things planned and a roadmap that exists leads me to believe we'll be okay.
Really hard to say though, I don't think anybody really knows.
Ridiculous that shareholders know about layoffs before employees do. Zero details and zero f**ks given by ELT.
