Is the candidate list already out?

Will the candidate be decided based on performance till 16 sep or list is already made?

So what you’re saying is the lists are ready and were made by VPs without any involvement from managers (who don’t know who’s on the lists for their teams)?

Just know that your manager had no say. These choices are done at the VP level. No front line or 2nd line manager has any idea

The so called priority employees, who were product managers were all placed safe irrespective of their skill sets
Look in the directory the roles they joined and this is purely discrimination, nepotism and mafia culture

Someone on the event team told me off the record that US based sales and SE's will be notified next week and told they cannot attend Vegas meeting but non-US based sales teams will attend due to later layoff date per country laws

A lot of product engineering managers were notified early this summer their positions were “at risk”. When they apply to open roles internally, they are flagged as priority employees, like they’re being laid off. Cisco recruiters have to review their profile within two days. It would make sense they would be the first to be notified of their end date. That may correlate to the 300+ departing right away.

No this above comment is not accurate at all. 350 folks will be notified by cisco next week. The remainder on 9/16. Zero discussion of who its impacting, so to assume sales wont be is just that.....an assumption. Splunk notifications started yesterday at a small scale and will continue to progress through September and beyond.

Word is, in the US, that the affected folks will be notified in mid-September.

IF you are in sales, go to GSX: eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow (or mid-September) you may die.
