Why are we hiring anyone from universities if all jobs are leaving the us?

Bc college kids make less money.
I've seen some excellent new hires and I've seen some terrible. Don't count them all out, but some really would be PIPed and out the door in any other company.

New hires have always been the same. The problem is we don't layoff bottom 10% every year like Exxon and we end up with loser boomers and genX in middle/senior level management positions heavily laden with lead poisoning.
The really sad part is that the kids we're hiring now are poor quality compared to our new hires 10 and 15 years ago.
Because the kids can act as liaisons with our new 3rd world "competency" centers. You don't need a high-priced experienced petrotech to take their reports and put them into a powerpoint.
Because they can pay college students half the market rate.
Push out the higher PSGs
We have twice as many open jobs in California as Texas at the moment. Go figger.
