I was LR’d last year…had a 8:30 am with VP dropped on my calendar at 7:30 am….15 minutes and done. Asked if I had any questions which couldn’t be answered because they’re under NDA. Had some friends that were impacted earlier this year…they LR’d the entire team on the same call…first I’d heard of that method in the US. Good luck!

They do this way when the list is long, different time zones and they need to fit it all in one day. I was laid-off the first on Feb 15th in our org. and was asked not to talk to colleagues about LR call coming their way.
I have heard a lot of people say that they got 1:1s scheduled before start of work day in last lay off.
