Thoughts on new employees under 1 year?

Any more or less at risk?

I've personally seen someone who was hired roughly 4 months prior get laid off in February.

That’s probably why they’re adding a 1 month buffer before issuing notices.

Entirely situational. No more or less at risk than others. Seen it happen. Su-ks but six months to find a new job eases the pain.

I have heard from Splunkers that people hired within the last year have gotten layoff notices.

Typically new employees are not at risk. We have team members hired in the last 6 months not sure about a year though.

Less than a year you may not have been part of any of the stack rank processes that are believed to be part of the decision criteria
