If you get job outside Cisco, you still get the package before the end of 60 days. I got LR in Feb this year in Sydney and I managed to got the new job in couple of weeks time. I spoke to HR and my last date was adjusted. I got full payout.
Many people in my team did it the same as it saves some tax as well if you take the two months salary along with the the separation package

Yes you do. During the 60 day period there is no requirement for you to work check in email or anything they just keep you on so that you can use internal tools to help with finding a new role. If you want to roll out on day 1 nothing is preventing you. In fact you likely will not be allowed to attend any team meetings and other things
I don't think you actually work for those 60 days. You have basic access to CEC and Webex, but not actually doing the work.
This is based on reports of past LRs, and what I have seen by the impacted people (although it's been less than 3 people).
In this event (which is called garden leave), you will not be working or required to do anything for Cisco... So who is to know if you get a new job? Maybe you'll need to attend one or two meetings during that time, but I highly doubt it.
Don't give them more info than necessary. They didn't - this LR has been cooking since July and we don't know what's happening until a month later.
No, if you resign before the end of the transition period you don't get paid out.
which money ?
During the 60days you only get the regular pays
I think you receive the package after that
But yes probably there is an option to stay quiet for 60 days receive money from Cisco as employee and from the new employer
If you find a job outside of Cisco, just join quietly until the money hits your bank account. If you find a job inside of Cisco, you don't get anything.
