I’m about to get a lot of down votes but in this job market I’ll take another month of pay and start applying to stuff. That actually makes the sev package 7 months instead of 6, assuming you get impacted
Honestly, with current market situation, Cisco's reorg is absolutely necessary, but just 7% is definitely not enough, right now Cisco just need around 15k employees worldwide, need cut around 70k positions, looking at Meta, ecery year it cuts 22% employees, and make it's stock skyrocketing.
Chuck is just an actor with no care for anyone but himself
Nooo, I am sure the CEO feels really bad for everyone, really. But millions of dollars helps, right?
I hope the ELT is sad. I hope they’re going through he-l and are miserable. They’re doing a cr-ppy job managing the business. Shame. 🔔 Shame. 🔔 Shame. 🔔 (GOT fans, you get me)
The more negative press (and justifiably so!) about this culture of semi annual layoffs and toxicity the better. It may actually force the board to take action against this incompetent ELT. I know… wishful thinking.
The optics on that don't look great at all.
Not sure why you'd be in danger if you have unvested RSUs...it just gets diluted when you get them. Not a big deal.
CEO is fake with crocodile tears. Don't fall for it.
So someone is making $32M while thousands are losing their jobs? Nothing to see here. Keep moving! Go!
Realize that the employees in many European countries spent 4-5 months in uncertainty during the last round due to local employment laws that lead to lengthy redundancy procedures…
If you hold big RSU you are in danger.
All this while Chuck Robbins made $32 millions.
When do we get to see how the CPF will affect his bonus ?
yea but he looked sad on the call...
“This has become the most toxic environment I’ve ever worked in, and the mood as evidenced by comments on internal platforms is as dark as I’ve ever seen it. I’m only waiting until my next big RSU vest to leave, and I know others are too,”
