Does anyone have information on the exit package in Canada? Lots of posts about the US but not much with Canada

4 weeks working notification - didn’t have to do any work but could “theoretically” use that time to find an internal position. After last day, received 1 month for every full year of Cisco employment (these months were subtracted from the 12 months of eligible EI benefits. 6 months of outplacement support; medical benefits terminated 4 weeks after notification date
You’ll freeze your package off up there in the Great White North!
According to last LR ( Feb 2024), Employee got 2 months paid in lieu of just applying for Internal jobs & claim govt EI benefits for 10 months.
They are moving to low cost centers. I expect more hiring in Canada.
Everything is closing, no package.
