The American automakers with their massive and powerful labor unions were unable to keep jobs from moving to Mexico and vast layoffs which sunk the entire midwest economy. What makes you think a widely hated oil company moving a few engineers to India will provide congressional outrage and action? Dream on.

Exxon here. If this makes you mad just wait until the Indian expats start showing up in the US at the same time they are firing Americans and stop hiring from American universities.

You're joking, right? Our government is a tragic catastrophic pile of garbage.

Haha you think they didn’t have this plan the last 5+ years. While employees thought we had great American jobs and the c-suite was lining this up and taking in millions? All while MW courted DT and congress?

Congress can hardly do the bare minimum - pass Continuing Resolutions as they can’t get support for a bipartisan budget that actually supports the nation. And actually you think they would spend any time on a few Chevron jobs going overseas?

While it might not help go and try. The more they hear about it the better the chance we have for change.

Your government doesn’t work for you, they work for corporations.
