When TAC is hit, you know it's bad

Most TAC feel that they're safe from layoffs because they're relatively untouched. Cisco relies on TAC contracts for a big piece of revenue.

If they're hitting TAC this time around, then I think that's a sign of big issues.

The writing is on the wall.

TAC is always whacked, they just re-hire in lower and lower cost areas

TAC was impacted in Feb— from what folks are saying is that at least DC is safe for now.
