This will impact all store scanners and only impact perishable team buyers. None perishable team buyers are safe for now. You will be required to work through the holidays 01/01 to receive your severance. Start working on those resumes

Can a store scanner from each region let me know what their cap is? I am thinking of moving out of state. Here is California it is 32.40
Whoever started this false rumor think before you post this BS -no one is going to believe anything on this site. Keep it legit ok?
I still have a job bro
Our scanner finally got his notice today.
I am a Grocery buyer and I still have my job.
Grocery TL here - I haven't heard ANYTHING like this. My buyers are still employed and so is the SSS in our store.
Troll post.
Who’s the stupid id--t saying store scanners are getting canned 10/1? All my scanners are still here when I came back from vacation. I was really looking forward to the purge but now I have to wait for the next rumor to surface. Thanks OP for trolling
Regarding elimination of Produce buyers:
Announced the other day.

To the mean girls (probably (HR or corporate) in the comment section saying it’s a rumor and making fun of OP- it was announced over a year ago and is in more than 200 stores already.

And the new store rollouts will be automated with very few people.
Store scanner and buyers in my store all seemed happy today.
Assume this was a bs post but curious if anyone has heard anything ?
Leadership is not your friend all they are is yes men for upper management. So many poor managers in the company but as long as the stores make money nobody addresses issues with them.
Pretty sure sausage sniffing specialist would be store leadership that is all most of them are good for. Takes a special kind of person with zero gag reflex to appease the global teams and get one of those jobs.
I just took the training for the sqt. It really starts in the NE and NI region October 7. I'm in the SE region, don't know when it starts for us but I'll let u know how it goes
From Amazon
Oh sure.
This seems like a legit post
Will the company flip flop like always eliminate the role then bring back paying the new person less money like they normally do?
True in most cases. Doesn't happen right away but it does happen. Makes sense in that Amazon values hard labor vs someone walking around checking on orders. Under old Whole Foods, value was making sure there is plenty of stock (unfortunately, resulting in plenty of waste and spoilage). Under Amazon, make sure everyone is breaking their backs working. Non-labor work to be done through systems and corporate instead of workers onsite at stores.
Also noticed that we are being more lax on what we can spoil out. Our standards of what is considered sufficient for spoilage and/or disposed of have gotten lower.
This rumor pops up all the time, buyers and SSS are always rumored to be being cut.
Where did you get this info from?
