Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Any news on CX org.?

Has anyone's manager or Dir. or VP hinted at what is coming for the CX org. more especially for CSEs, SPMs? I saw a post here, cuts expected and that Liz doesn't like these roles.
It seems that AppD has still kept the customer success/SPM team - is that a sign of hope?

Has anyone heard anything?

To my knowledge the AppD team members were part of the 350 notified this week. Not sure which section of AppD

Maybe the CX people can be “re-tooled” to become native english speaking TAC engineers.

LC’s strategy for customer facing CX is aligned with a lot of the responsibilities that CSE’s handle. Cisco just hired a bunch of them over the past year but who knows how that fits into her strategy.

I was a worked renewals and i quit when the CX V2MOM and useless mantras started. With good incentives partners can do all of this for most customers.

I saw some coworkers get these useless roles CSE and SPM. To put it kindly— they where of no value add to any deals. Lots of talk🤡 ∞
