Wondering if managers are aware who is going to be impacted or even they are blindsided ?

Without being too specific, I know for a fact first and second line managers have been involved - at least in my BU - in choosing which positions to eliminate during the last few LRs. I worked in another BU before this one, and it was a mixed bag in those BUs.
And that's the crux of it. It varies by the stated purpose of the LR (wholesale cuts across the board vs more targeted cuts), by BU, and of course by the leadership in those BUs
I wasn’t consulted at all and have someone. This not the first time.
ELT is lying. FLMs are not being consulted.
Senior directors and VPs have had a say on this and the last one in Feb but as a first line manager I have not. We get blindsided too so don’t believe the bill that the ELT dish out
If my FL or SLM has a say then good luck to everyone. They are 2 of the most incompetent people. Managers because they have 0 tech skills.
Would think only the clueless FL managers would not been consulted. So if you’re not asked at the end of the day as a leader who know who are.
Nope a lot of managers are not consulted. Some skill level managers are making those decisions.
Managers have a say in this one.
Can’t rely on what ELT says ..
