Anyone else feel like your playing for the "team" with your position, doing 7 different peoples jobs because loss of workforce
Just feeling overwhelmed recently with how much is expected i'm just one person

Was just told we need to be more of team players (by doing the jobs of all of the people they fired and who quit).
F. That
@ 1tid+1u8UQw63 if you are manager/middle manager or hold a salary position your not that special dont let your ego tell you otherwise. We are all replaceable just ask JB
90% of the "managers" have no staff and "accountants" are doing data entry. They should all be OT eligible and are paid salary.
Netops will be sold yet again, just as they were when they came here, Crown wi go on, and you won't be touching out light switches.
@1tid+1u8UQw63 If you work and maintain the SCN or Enterprise network you're more valuable than most, and those people qualify for OT. They can't turn off the networks. They can more easily contract out all other positions. Net OPS will be the people turning off the lights if this place goes under.
If you qualify for overtime you're nowhere near as valuable as you think
Most of us who are worth anything are having to take up the slack from either new inexperienced teammates or just lazy ones who are just waiting to get laid off. Honestly, it su-ks! Getting paid and making OT is great in the short term, but mentally and physically exhausting. Plus not knowing when the sh!t will hit the fan makes it a bit worse, feels like we’re doing all this extra work just to make the 1% that much more money in the sale… but that’s the way the cookie crumbles. For now I’m just keeping my head down and working, still applying for other companies in the meantime and planning an exit strategy. Best wishes to all my teammates, hopefully we can get through this mostly unscathed
@1bcy+1u8UQw63 - WRONG! Not every Company goes through this. Successful, well run Companies do not go through this. Crown is in a downward spiral ----yes they will come out of it, but not until many people's lives are upended.
Every company goes through this. This is normal. If you haven’t experienced something like this then welcome to the club. If you’re young, relax. You’ll recover
Yea it's pretty bad and the loss of knowledge has this place falling apart. It's shocking. No one knows what they are doing. Including me.
Yes. Which is why I took another role outside the company and I’m handing my resignation in tomorrow.
