Gas is making big money off the AI bo-m but Schenectady had to try to bring in Wind work to not lose money. Not that it's a huge mess SS and VA are taking massive layoffs to make the numbers for the end of year, 1st post spin. If you work in Schenectady get out now.

Even Schenectady hates Schenectady.
Onshore or offshore, the issues with one will affect sales of the other. No one wants to spend perfectly good money on perceived garbage products. At this point I wouldn't be surprised to see some gas turbine failures. Now that we're smaller and weaker, it's harder to hide them.
SS and VA hate Schenectady
Steam is already dead for intents and purposes. Generator work here goes hand in hand with gas turbine sales. Again showing how few know what our company does and where it does it. Add to that all the service orders for around the world, years of steady work for Schenectady!
That bubble is coming to an end. That work is only to upgrade the current fleet in the US. The next years will be gas gas gas and renewables renewables. Nobody wants steam.
You idols do realize that Schenectady Wind is on shore, not off shore, big difference. And with all the signed contacts on generator and turbine work for the next 6-8 yrs, there will not be lay offs , they have over 200 hourly jobs posted to hire yet. Smoke another pole, you certainly cant post about the company when ya have no clue about the company!
