AMD does not reject Intel experience. However, if you are PE in Intel, you need think about it. People know lots of Intel PE are very skillful on grabbing accomplishes from teammates to themself for technical leadership, but technical skill is not good. So, as PE you need to prepare detailed hand-on technical skill for interview.

I disagree and I went to a lot of interview before landing the dream job with Intel experience. If you are old, you better know someone otherwise you are $hit up the creek.

Some recruiters in the Austin area told me similar negative perception about having working experience at Intel, with using Intel custom tools and processes and not industry standards.
