I assume OP feeling bitter because UAW has close an insanely great plan? Ford salaried healthcare in the US is highly competitive w every other Fortune 1000 company, BCBS can be used in-network in all 50 states with many in-network options. It is a PPO, so easy to see nearly any provider.
Ford salaried benefits do s#ck becuase the salaried ranks are on the sacreficial alter of the UAW hourly workers. Everytime there is a new contract the salaried staff gets the shaft. That's one of the reason for the salariied staff reductions, along with all the bad investments and corporate aquisitions/disposals the company has made over the past 20 years.
I have been paying into my HSA for 6 years and never dipping into it.
Even in retirement I max it out as there is no income needed.
Outside plans have crazy high deductibles.
My friends that are teachers have MESSA BCBS and its like $3000 out of pocket for the entire family.
You deserve a gold star for your efforts.

The HSA is a very, very tax advantaged mechanism. Maybe you aren't seeing the forest for the trees here. What the coverage / plan lacks in coverage / perks might be over shadowed if you use this account properly.

Which health plan are you on? I think the BCBS HD plan is a decent selection. People with little or no health issues end up paying nothing. If you do need to use the insurance, the deductible can be completely paid with your HSA contributions which are before tax contributions.
Look for another job? Don’t know what else to tell you. Sounds like you’re overall unhappy with your position there based on your tone.
