Why some are not part of the acquisition? What projects are they doing for ATT?

cybersecurity is so critical that AT&T sold the high growth business unit off.
many cso employees who are actual remote workers not even close to any at&t location are targeted for wave 3. Other groups of employees in non hub locations are not allowed to telecommute but have to report to those locations. At this point those locations were given exempt status because the whole hub concept, wasn't thought out, and the id1ots above didn't realize all the job functions performed when the made their edicts. However, we were told that all those exemptions are being revisited by the end of the year.
why do ATT CSO people get to telecommute and don’t have to be at a hub?
They don't.

LB is security solutions for customers. AT&T CSO is security for AT&T.
"Bcs they are paid by LB company. OK technically salary goes from T. But T invoices their salaries to LB and it's LB decision what to do."
No (read OP's question), the “non-Level Blue” employees are still ATT employees....why do they get to telecommute and don’t have to be at a hub?

Now let me tell you truth.
There are some customers and services which cannot be separated.
Some customers, mostly fegov, didn't agreed to be managed by 3rd party - LevelBlue.
Some services are hard to split - I`m one of those working on it. It takes time.
Intl LB employees are not moved due to local regulations.
This was a total fubar. Would not surprise me if they moved to other internal jobs at AT&T when the dust settles. You know ATT is the good Ole boy network.
Also for internal ATT CSO, sounds like they are already standing up the india cso team, so they may be many of those jobs overseas soon.
Has T ever really had a cybersecurity unit? Most customers would be surprised to learn this.
Do they need to be at Dallas or a hub? I know there’s an offshore group working on that too.
Helping prevent outages, and hacks that could lead to the release of our customer’s information and call records. Someone get these folks a raise.
