Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Remote Targeted?

Were the fully remote not near a client center or HUB targeted this latest round of layoffs, or was it pretty much across the board?

Formally from Union. I can assure none of us make even remotely close to $200,000 as noted above at a level 15, they pretty much capped vice president at 145. Directors were only paid $10,000 more than a vice president. These are fax I would ignore anything. This is over $200,000. That’s absurd and USBank would not have taken them.

I heard a co-worker get notice that he can officially now be remote.

If a coworker makes less than you you’re making too much. A lot of Union bank employees came in over $200k and were placed at level 15

What kind of salary would be considered high enough to warrant a layoff? $120k? $150k? More?

Of course remote work will be used as an excuse to terminate some workers and to scare others.

I'm fully remote and not near a client center or Hub. As far as I know, I'm still employed. That said, we still have a lot of calendar left in the year.
