Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Stop drinking Kool-Aid.

Boeing strike going into second week. Yet!
We were told that since we're so far behind, we just keep on building.
Now honeywell's paying all this labor costs and paying for all these parts. This will show negatively on their next quarterly results.

Remember folks honeywell only gets paid when our customers receive our products. So by building all these parts, and not getting paid for it. Goes against what Boeing is trying to do. Stop burning cash and losing millions of dollars as the strike goes on.

Yet! Kool-Aid people from Honeywell say we wouldn't follow the same philosophy. Well, I've read the profile alignment. I really believe they're going to relocate my facility and that's why we're going to be busy stockpiling.

I don't care how you look at it. Stop buying for relocating a facility. Would make logical sense cuz you wouldn't mind burning cash flow to do it. Otherwise, you're just burning cash flow for no apparent reason.

I don't believe for a second. This strike does not affect Honeywell and its profits. They will be cutting and eliminating positions eventually. Just not in the buildings, that they might relocate. Stockpile so you can relocate and not affect customers demands.

Do you Kool-Aid people really think that honeywell's. During the strike is going to just keep running business as normal and filling back orders. Stop supersizing it. I believe it's going to affect the company and I think it's just a matter of time before they do this.

We will take the Boeing philosophy. All people across the company will have to take out rotating one weak furlough. So you only get paid for 3 weeks of work, and possibly doing some of the other things that Boeing's been doing to their workforce.

I really expect rifs, layoffs, and furloughs as his strike continues. Only the buildings that might be relocated will be busy and the other companies and office support will really feel the effect of the strike. This will speed up the process of relocating these buildings to new the state-of-the-art buildings, and keep their carbon free footprint in place by 2035.

Don’t dictate drunk. This is the best you can say when you drink Kool-Aid. Bottom line you can’t just backlog parts. Then sit on the parts. It affects the bottom line and quarterly results.

So when you tell me that we got such a big backlog and we can build up to three months of parts without getting paid, tells me your Kool-Aid people are not in reality.

If you’re trying to tell me this won’t show up in quarterly results, you’re wrong. It will definitely impact quarterly results. They’re not gonna have a negative cash result for billing parts that people don’t accept.

I got bad news for some of you guys. I definitely see some RIF coming in the near future. I expect production support to get nailed and office people being eliminated. Last time they cut so many people. I don’t even know how they kept the company running.

Pointing and laughing at Boeing’s flaming dumpster from our cardboard box home is not going to fix anything. Unable to deliver means the backlog is going to turn into a big list of cancelled orders.

Hon will benefit from this. There's always demand in the aftermarket for our products. If Boeing/GE won't take the shipments parts will be reallocated to the aftermarket and sold at a premium. We'll still have furloughs in Q4 if this drags on long enough. Why would they waste an opportunity to save a few bucks and deflect the blame on someone else.

By the way. When I'm right most of my posts. I use the voice typing feature. Where it writes what I say. It does make a lot of mistakes and maybe I should get better at proofreading. So your Kool-Aid people can attack all the grammar errors, and incomplete sentences or sentences that don't make sense. I really don't care.
