Hi guys,
I was part of an earlier phase of Wave 2. Just some thoughts I wanted to share….First of all I am still very happy with my decision, there will be setbacks in your career search but the hiring is picking up, so don’t give up. Second, I don’t have to deal with a toxic work environment and an id--t boss and my stress level has decreased significantly. Third, HR does a good job of mixing up the age groups in each phase so they don’t get sued and you get notification of that with your layoff package. In my group I had a 25 year old and a 73 year old! Fourth, there is ageism everywhere and not just in T. it is mostly higher paid people they are targeting. Good luck to everyone. Most repeated info is surplus tomorrow for last of Legg Wave 2; some L3s will also get surplus. Legg some Wave 3 letters on 9/27 with answers due by mid-Oct. No will get you off payroll by EOY; yes will get you a report date to new location by EOQ1 2025.

I have been hearing tomorrow, 9/26. How could it be 9/27? That’s part of the unofficial 4-day weekend for employees with 3 day RTO weekly commitments..

Lots of moving parts. My org was L1/L2 wave 3 "will you move" letters are coming on 9/27. Wave 2 that declined to move are getting surplus letters on 9/26.

I think we are all lost what wave is it now. There are monthly waves of layoffs going on now. This is Stankey’s systemic plan to get rid of US employees. If you are in the hub or not, you are targeted for removal. How long is it sustainable?
