Thread regarding Crown Castle International Corp. layoffs

Unification and Positivity

We should be supporting each, not wishing any ill will on other departments or our coworkers. Let’s have peace, love, and purple passion.

Just joking, if you have a bad manager or director their but should be kicked out on the street, folks making continuous bad decisions should be gone.

I've met probably 2 managers / directors in IT or Businesses Performance that have any technical skills at all unless you count being a friend or family member of another high-ranking employee as a skill. Not surprising that every system update or digital transformation for the past decade has been a waste of time and money when even turning a computer on is difficult for some of the "leaders".

When a VP makes a person "Director of Engineering" while at the same time that (now) Director (that has little to no engineering experience mind you) has mentioned in the past that they don't think they need engineering, then that sends 2 messages. 1) The VP that put him there doesn't know how to place people in positions that enhances their group/company and 2) Other Directors, VPs, and Managers are definitely in positions at Crown that they have no business being in the first place.

There are no recommendations/suggestions to fix poor hiring/placements other than to get rid of the people enabling that in the first place. If leadership wasn't inept, then no one would be complaining on here telling different versions of the same story.

Just curious. Who are you to determine who is bad?

There seem to be a lot of armchair executives on here that just complain about everyone else rather than offering suggestions (other than fire ___) to fix things.
