Sorry to all who are affected by the IESNP closures. My guess is that Landmark nationwide will have a third RIF on 10/17.

There are rumblings. Lots of GL31 and 32 are on the list and luckily for them, they’ve been told had months to prepare looking for other jobs. Those 30 and below, you will know soon enough. Take care and know that it’s only temporary. The ones moving on with severance are the lucky ones. Enjoy the holidays and know that it’s only a job. Not that great in the past few years. If you can hold till 2025, positions will open up again. Good luck and let’s support each other through this difficult business decision. Just keep in mind it’s the top leaders and executives are the ones that have failed us. You did what you were told to survive in this crazy company. Let’s hope those who failed us are rifted.

@1aod+1uLXaaeu - looks like your post came in about 4a - Are you okay? didn't get a ton of sleep? something troubling your mind? perhaps the very real possibility that you'll get laid off very soon and maybe the things they've tried to get you to buy in to aren't what they seem?

Sure, we've all been there - the work you do is valuable, you're doing a great job, our market is exceeding expectations and the things we've said about 2025 and beyond are still totally going to happen.

You are on the "Real-Estate side" so it gives you a "peak" {sic} at personnel moves? Sure you are. Try using the correct spelling of simple words first. Looks like the fired Mouse-Jiggler is trying to instill fear anyway he can again.

IESNP meeting today — they are closing the markets in all but 4 states, hope they fire our leaders, they need to own this.

@bpl+1uLXaaeu is correct. Optum Tech getting hit hard, again. Most of the offshore moves for 2024 are in place and the 2025 capital reductions means people have to go. Bottom line, business bought 120+ days of lower headcount before they add more offshore (Latin America) in Q1 2025. Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

I’m thinking Landmark in Texas will get hit since we are losing BSW and Dallas and Houston are not doing well with new admits.

I'm on the real-estate side of Optum so i can give a peak in location where cuts are happening. I haven't heard much about the scope though. But with such major changes in EIS and Optum tech I'm thinking 15%-20% reduction across the business lines in Optum. Some areas more some less.

Targeted reductions in high cost areas like Boston and Basking Ridge. Which I applaud I've never worked with good people from MA or NJ. The plan is to break lease on Fenway and Basking in 2026 because we have an out clause.

Big push to move to Latin America too. Talent is easy to find then India and higher quality. Plus can't beat the same timezone

@eqe+1uLXaaeu: what a great response, so helpful to the group... to the poster, I have only read that a lot of positions have been moving over seas, and that LM1 and LM could be effected, but no idea of the scope...sorry i could not be more helpful
