Uverse TV

What happens to it now? I have had Uverse Fiber for years.

Started at $35 a month in 2009. Ended at $117 a month in 2024.

We liked it, but am tired of rising charges. I'm not your beast of burden, Dummies.

Hate to lose Uverse TV, some may disagree, but I have found it to be one of the best products AT&T ever had. I have had a good experience in the years I have had it.

The billing will most likely change (divested separately from your current AT&T online account) and migration may soon follow to the Direct TV streaming product. All just a guess at this point. Do NOT see how Retiree discounts could continue?

Any discount you may get on it will be gone. Then they'll most likely shut it down sooner then later.

AT&T dumped the remainder 70% of Direct TV to TPG group. Closing second half of 2025. Not sure what that does for my retiree 30% discount on Uverse TV?? I will probably drop it for Hulu if they take away the discount. The Uverse fiber and internet is probably safe as I would imagine that they will keep that portion.

I don’t plan to disconnect unless T does. It has it quirks but I put up with it. I do not want to go to streaming. Thanks for the information.

Uverse TV was grandfathered. If you cancel you can’t get it back. If you have it, keep it~ unless you are notified, you can keep enjoying it.
