People are either wishing to be laid off or praying to keep their job. I decided neither. Job market really isn’t good, and I think first offshoring is going to bleed us before AI finishes us off. At last that seems to be the plan. I’ll have this job, thank you very much, until I have it no more. I will try to find other options along the way. If something pops up, fine. For as long as it doesn’t, I’ll just do bare minimum here for as long as it lasts.

AI ? All Indian ?
I think I got it now, thanks.
AI won’t be any different than how things get done today. We have been running the bank and its technology on artificial intelligence all this time. The problem is that our intelligence is well below other people’s intelligence.
Quiet quitting is hardly a new concept
AI isn’t going to finish us off any time soon. As dysfunctional as we are and as arduous as it is to do anything, including AI, people are going to be needed.
I’m willing to bet the pendulum is going to swing back. What we’re not really hearing other than personally speaking to people is how many outages are happening, things not getting done and the overall cluster f things are.
I was going to retire on my own, but F Shart, I'll hang out until he pays me a years worth of severance. Don't like it Sharty Boi? Maybe you shouldn't have fired all my friends and lied about it. Get out the checkbook you POS.
It's in God's control. If he wants you at Wells, NOTHING or NO ONE can thwart his WILL.
N O T H I N G.
Take care of yourself until you get your package. This place doesn’t deserve any of the talent that is still left. What a total sh-tshow of complete leadership incompetence.
Great response for former Wells employees in job interviews. Someone made a point about prospective employers assuming one was laid off due to being a low performer. Being a low or high performer is totally in an employee's control. Performance however isn't the basis for these layoffs. Call centers are closing, departments and branches are closing. It's just cut jobs left and right and backstabbing in the name of outsourcing jobs to pay overseas people less than we make here
in the states. Apparently some call centers are closing with no WARN notice. The company is under scrutiny from regulator restrictions. It can't seem to get from under the Fed's asset cap. You really don't hear much about the fake account scandal anymore. This layoff is 100 percent no reflection on those getting displaced, or their hard work.
it won't make a difference. it's out of your control
