What are the options if PTO exhausted and need to travel to other cities but is able to work remotely after October
? Do our managers have the right to allow us to work remotely temporarily? What will happen if we simply just don’t come in 4 days a week?

As someone else stated, you should contact your HR partner specifically to address how things work in your specific department. If you are out of time off you can often take the days unpaid but it’s manager discretion.
You can play the scam of “I’m going to work from home” when you are really taking days off. But then some of us have integrity and ethics. If you are out of PTO, that’s on YOU

Probably depends on what is meant be “needs to travel to other cities”. Don’t know your HR policies but if it’s for medical reasons you might explore FMLA (family medical leave act); perhaps a short term disability claim (100% of salary, usually, for up to 6 weeks); alternatively you might request a short leave without pay. Be more specific and you might get some helpful ideas. I also agree with the post that this is an HR question and you probably don’t want your career or performance subject to the interpretations and inferences of uninformed (though well-meaning) strangers.
They are trafficking both badge swipes and if you VPN in. Those reports are given to managers via Workday. It’s ok the managers to enforce and will hurt but your bonus and theirs. A policy went into effect as of October 1st for the return to office / enforcement.
Only option. Enforce DUI policy.
