The deadline is November 29th I believe. Read HR's policies. It's all on the website and gets updated every year to coincide with the calendar year (e.g. that last work day in November). Those over 40 started their PIP ~ Sept. 1. Those under 40 started ~ 3 weeks prior. Again, it's all on HR's website. Use the search function - "MLRP".

Someone I know was laid off at the beginning of August, second PIP in a row, this person chose to leave rather so I don’t know about a November deadline like someone said

The bad thing is PIP season never stops as it comes every year. PIP the gift that keeps on giving. It is like the cold or flu because you will eventually get it. The only defense or vaccine is to be protected.

Usually NSI people are working through their improvement plan now, then a decision is made/layoff quota met, then unsuccessful persons must be gone by 01 November.
