US Audit professionals - Be aware. Managers here only care about themselves, have no soft skills & will throw you under the bus in a heartbeat. Everything internal is highly political & if you point anything out or take issue with anything, you will be scapegoated. Run, don't walk, away. Deadlines are moved up constantly to "tomorrow". You'll be expected to perform better than your manager but you won't be given any credit.

The audit department is incompetent. They should have caught the issues with the AML mess and failed to do so. They should all be fired starting with the top.
Avoid Audit Governance & Control. Run for the hills.
