Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Bank of America Trending Today ONCE again ...TECHNOLOGY issue. Online banking App and Browser Outage reported today

CNN and other media sites have reported thousands of customers tried to log into online banking via the app and web browser and noticed zero balances, not all of their accounts showed, etc. Is Aditya preparing to make this Bank of Bhasin opposed to Bank of America? SMDH and LOL

Someone please explain all the money the bank invest in technology how in the he-l we allow this cr-p to happen? Someone needs to be held accountable perhaps it should be Bhasin and Popeye(Brian). LOL

@Bsbu+1uNww068 - ok, rando. I'll bite, wtf are you ranting about so incoherently? and wtf does any alleged layoff in MO have to do with a tech glitch. Do/did we even have any GTO people in MO anymore...?

Too much old tech that can't be upgraded and is prone to crash.

Still running 1980 systems in some areas.

Meanwhile they have cut costs and given themselves large bonuses.

The Gov needs to step in to avert a crisis.

@1unh+1uNww068 Trash talk comes with the job in IT. Regardless if you are a Gen Z or a Boomer, the biggest step before Production is Testing Testing and More Testing. Yes, errors will occur but not in this magnitude. One good thing that will come from this is that IT will not this mistake again.

@1unh+1uNww068...I wasn't trash talking the technology employees that actually do the work . I am referring to Technology leaders that make the decisions to ensure that the bank makes the right decisions on what is truly needed to prevent mishaps as much as possible. I get it technology at times have faults but at the same time it's the leaders who make the ultimate decisions. So no offense to you as a technology associate because you're doing your job along with the rest of us little folks doing our jobs to make this company operate BUT you we all know that there are ALOT of bad decisions that have been made that never really had been looked at entirely of how it would impacts multiple LOBs.

Once you have all the facts, then you can trash those of us in "technology". Very few people within BAC and those that frequent this site know how hard it is to keep the worlds largest private network running. Occasionally things break.
