Our sales have slowed down so much that I'm now genuinely starting to get worried. Have any other clubs noticed something similar or is this just us?

not at our club. it's wiped out everyday. Saturday & sunday is a total rebuild.
Sales are always “slow” during spring and summer due to people going on vacations. It picks back up end of August, Labor Day. Been this way for years.
I can understand why. Have you ever been in a Costco? They are awesome! I shop there at least twice a month.
We're doing great in Oxnard CA.
