Thread regarding 3M layoffs

Solventum Nepotism

Talk about ethics, Bryan Hanson the new CEO of Solventum hired his brother in law Doug Jones. I can confirm they are related based on the family obituary. Ridiculous.

What's the temperature out there for Solventum employees? Is everyone worried about the realignment?

It is funny, this would not be first time that fearless leader has managed to sneak around nepotistic (or cronyistic ?) practices. There was some legal fighting at Medtronic with him - https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/USCOURTS-mad-1_15-cv-10498/pdf/USCOURTS-mad-1_15-cv-10498-0.pdf

Of course this is not unheard of. It just goes mostly unnoticed as people with enough money and resources can hide their tracks pretty good so the rest of us do not 'catch' it.

For the C suite I guess 'This is the way'. Maybe they should wear mandalorian helmets too just to make things official.

Yesterday it was announced by the CEOs minion the super religious drunk that Solventum cancelled the sales incentive trip to cut costs, hiring freeze, and travel freeze. Next step, Solventum gets their own layoff site and personal cuts start.

With leaders like kleppe expect further flubs and blatant violations of the code. So good to no longer have her in 3m

Hire whoever you want, engage Kearney to build firewalls since they have recent proven experience, and position as a win in your PowerPoint slides. Easy path to the C suite. You’re welcome.

It’s not so much nepotism as cronyism. And there’s a LOT of cronyism.

It is blatant enough to make you wonder whether Nelson Peltz will use it for leverage, but at least they aren’t GE hires nor tire guys.

Who cares! That stock is down the toilet! Hanson can ride it down all the way!

Until Solventum is lucky enough to get their own layoff page it’s relevant to 3M…especially when 3M owns 20% of Solventum.

Don’t care. Solventum is a different company.

Falls in line with the suspect resume of Solventum's Chief of Staff.
