Thread regarding Crown Castle International Corp. layoffs

Serious question

What was worse for the culture, Laura Nichol or the fiber acquisitions?

It’s certainly not LN. She was such a people person that genuinely cared about Crown employees. I really miss her leadership.

I don’t think our purple values are reflected in this post.

Lightower. When Crown swallowed that pill, it was never the same again.

LN by far.
Fiber was an investment that isn’t bringing returns as quickly as hoped. Data demand will eventually make it profitable.
LN completely changed the culture. She convinced JB that everything needed to be Houston-centric to the detriment of the entire company. First the new corporate building. Then the relocation. LN, quite honestly, could be the anti-Christ. Such an absolutely horrible human being.

Really? JB & LN? I would think J could do better than that old hag. Whatever.

Both were bad for crown, There was the Crown before JB, LN and Fiber and what you have now. Also I'm pretty sure been Ben hired LN. But she knew where the power was going and she latched on to JB from the get-go, together they ruined crown there's no disputing that. Their hirings and new policies assured crowns downfall to what it is now. Crown was riding high It took a while for it to start degrading but once COVID and the lockdown had its effect on the economy and business It exposed all the bad decisions.

Did not know there was some bumping and grinding taking place in the purple palace. I guess there were some happy ending to the story.

How disgusting and very disappointing in our EMT

After JBs divorce she slide from his DMs straight into his bed and ruined all of crown. Fiber was just the cherry on top.

LN led like a cult leader. Cared only about politics and playing favorites. JB totally gave over power to her and never really led

They should’ve cleaned house with fiber. There was never a culture fit there so you could never truly merge the companies. Fiber still acted like they were lightower and were anti crown and its culture. When they actually merged into network is when it really went downhill.

Worst thing for fiber was CCI buying them.
Can’t wait for sale.

The biggest issue for Fiber was when they hired CL to run it, after failing at Frontier then fumbling the easy bag with Google Fiber out of sheer incompetence

I mean Crown seemed to keep every single person from the fiber company acquisitions too maybe prove they the good guy or they plainly didn't know how 2 manage fiber.

Fed Interest rates and JBs lack of foresight ki-led our stock. Otherwise the stock would’ve caved a lot closer to the fiber acquisitions instead of breaking $200 years after.

That said, answer is both. LN tried her hardest to be Dolores Umbridge, and the fiber acquisitions did bring in some bad employees, but it also caused the bad employees in tower to make themselves visible

H-Town here, LN destroyed the culture while lining her pockets and running her private consulting firm at the same time. Fiber drained our capital, brought the absolute worst people into our business and ki-led our company values and our stock price.
