That’s someone getting laid off. If they don’t you’re in luck since no one is getting laid off.
I know this because this is what my manager had on his calendar in April the day OF layoffs.

When I got laid off back in April, my manager was not in the meeting and had no communication with me till he was supposed to mail my personal belongings to me. That turned into more of a pissy joke to him because all he mailed was a package of croutons and my sunglasses. Never responded back to my texts or emails of what I was missing. He walked right by me without saying 'good morning' that day. So grab all of your stuff and clean locker just to be safe! You will NOT have an opportunity to go back, not even for your keys...
Lol my managers and their managers have their meetings labeled. So each to their own i suppose
Conference rooms booked up for 2 solid days is a better indicator. Conference room schedules are public knowledge.
I’ve never been able to see what my manager’s (or any of our managers/upper staff) meetings are labeled. Their calendars just say “Busy.”
So yeah, not helpful.
A lot of times your manager doesn’t even know. They leave it up to senior managers to make the cuts.
