It says about 85k....but I do not think it includes Splunk. I know for fact Cisco has been hiring a lot over the last 6 months, even with the layoff last year, and then again in Feb. They are the worst in managing resources. I can guarantee towards end of Q1 suddenly lots of budget and hiring again. When the next round comes, the employee count will be back to 85k.

85k includes Splunk. After Gary slashed and burned them for sale they didn’t have many employees.

Cisco just need 30k employees, so Chuck will have to layoff 5-7% every 6 months, if he steps down, the new CEO may layoff 38k a time.
